Selecting the Cells to Add Borders
Welcome back to another tutorial video. Today I'm going to show you how to add borders to your Google Sheets. Click and drag to highlight the cells, row, column, or table you want to add borders to.
Choosing a Border Design
Locate and click the Borders icon in the toolbar. A menu will appear with 10 different border designs to choose from. Browse the options to find the design that works best for your selected cells. Select the border style you prefer.
Changing Border Color and Style
You can also change the border color using the Border color option in the dropdown menu. You'll find a palette of preset colors as well as a custom color wheel for even more options.
Customize the border style by clicking the Border style button. This allows you to switch between solid, dashed, or dotted lines.
For example, let's say you want this one.
Applying the Border Type
Just select the border type that you want. Click the Borders icon again to confirm your selection.
Adjusting and Updating Borders
It's as simple as that. You can always switch them to however you'd like, and the rest will update automatically.
